Phew..... Can I have a rest now??

Work has been crazy over the last couple of months. We have had people leaving left right and centre, and newbies starting. to top it all off we've had big renovations happening in the office!!

It's finally over and we're settling into our new "cube farm".. The newbies are settling in and things are much less stressful :-)

So.. Other than that?? Beanie is growing, kicking, and generally doing everything he/she is supposed to be doing which is great!! I feel pretty good too, which is an added bonus!

Last weekend was pretty huge for us.. Friday night I went out for dinner with a friend, Saturday I went down to Mum's work to help out for a bit as she is away. Then up to BrisVegas for Doctor Boof's engagement party and a late night... Sunday I had a lovely lunch with the Traveller, BJ, and Harley, then went to IKEA on the way home as Hubby wanted to see the new store!!!

I'm still catching up on my beauty sleep......

I always seem to be apologising for not updating.. But today is different.. I am going to apologise for not uploading pictures instead...

Basically, we had our scan 2 weeks ago, and I am only just uploading them now..

Kicking Along

I have been feeling Beanie move for the last couple of weeks. This week in particular, the movements have been really pronounced, and I can distinguish between a kick/punch, and a rollover feeling as opposed to an occasional 'squiggle' in my belly (I don't know if this is relevant, but it is a cool fact).. Anyway, this morning I was lying in bed in a silent protest about getting up, when I noticed that Beanie was indeed awake and kicking.. I grabbed Hubby's hand and put it on my belly, not thinking that he would feel anything.. There are countless layers of Magnums, cheese and Paddle Pop's on top of Beanie after all.. Hubby's eyes went wide, and he said to me "I think I just felt it." The look on his face was priceless and he kept his hand there for ages, waiting to see if Beanie would move some more..

Beanie, in a cruel twist of fate, went back to sleep... Poor Hubby..

On another note, I am still a slacker and haven't yet scanned the ultrasound photos... I will definately do it tonight!! I promise!!
