Seeing double.....

Well, it's been said for some time now that the little fella, being an April fools day baby will either have an excellent sense of humour, or a severe complex....

After seeing his reaction to his own reflection I'm leaning towards the excellent sense of humour....

At least he can laugh at himself...

Hitch up of the centuary!!

WOW!!! I have had the hugest couple of weeks!!!!! I'll attempt to outline the events...

OK, so it's the leadup to Dr Boof's wedding.. I am a bridesmaid (no.. I refuse to be a matron).. Anyway, we ordered the dress back in April (About 4 weeks after the little fella was born), I was measured and we paid the deposit etc.

When we finally found out that the dress had been sent to the wrong shop, and had it sent to the right one, I slipped into it, and attempted to do up the zip.... Nope.. They've ordered it WAY too small for me.. I am definately not bigger now than I was 4 weeks after giving birth so they must have stuffed up.

Let me point out that the wedding was 10 days away, so we swore a little, then had the dressmaker unpick EVERY damn seam in the dress to see if we could make it fit.. Thank goodness there was enough material in the seams, and it fit..

So, last weekend I trundled up to the Hens night, drank way too many apple martinis and had a wonderful time, I spent this week recovering, and on Saturday I went up again.. I stayed Saturday night with Dr Boof as the hair and makeup lady was coming at 6.. Yes, that would be 6am.. I can assure you that at that hour of the morning I needed some makeup (not my best time of day I'm afraid)...

So, the wedding goes off without any problems at all, it was a beautiful ceremony, a lovely reception, and the champagne fuelled conversation from the groomsmen in the back of the cars on the way to and from the photo locations was very entertaining....

The little fella was so good, sleeping through some of the reception and socilising through the rest. He looked pretty cute in his "Tux" outfit too...
