The countdown is on...

I just had an alarming thought...... In just 3 months Hubby and I are going to be parents...

I was wondering what the whooshing sound in my ears was, before realising that it's time flying by!! I can't believe I am 6 months into this pregnancy, belly expanding rapidly.. (Beanie must know I am talking about him/her as I am being kicked as I type this)

I bought my first item of maternity clothing yesterday. So far I have been able to get away with increasingly large normal clothes, and pants with the stretchy waist have been a godsend. Most of my tops fit still, although they are probably now stretched beyond recognition.. I bought a pretty red dress to wear to Hubby and my work Christmas parties. Lucky they are in the same day, Hubby's is at the Gold Coast Turf Club for a lunch function, and mine is at the Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove for a dinner function. I'm hoping I can get away with wearing the same thing to both.

I had asked Hubby to take a picture of my belly this morning, but I was still in bed 11 minutes before I am supposed to leave for work, so there wasn't really time.. Good thing I don't take long to get ready :-)
